What is the value of RouteDesign to my organization?

The routes proposed in RouteDesign are based on commercially practiced chemistry and leverage the results of our proprietary and powerful search engines; therefore, they have not been previously disclosed in the literature and there is a higher probability that they can be used from Phase 1 through commercialization. This will lead to a reduced number of lab trials, lower development costs and less occurrence of redoing toxicological studies and the ability to expand patent coverage. Moreover, the work can be done in a matter of weeks and enhances your chemist's efforts by building on chemistry derived from varying industry segments. The aspect of commercialization and the inclusion of broad industrial knowledge allow your department to meet tight project deadlines with enhanced creativity.

How long does it take to get the completed report?

The time of completion is dependent on the complexity of the molecule, but on average we have been able to provide typical RouteDesign reports in around 6-10 weeks.

What can your chemists add to my team?

ROW2 Specialists employ our proprietary searches that uncover novel and unobvious result sets, which are difficult to find with traditional searches available today. We do not claim to be better chemists… we just have better tools to get at the important chemistry!

By combining our powerful algorithms, proprietary commercial databases and extensive chemistry experience, ROW2 augments your chemist's efforts by providing novel and commercially scalable synthetic pathways and additional options to evaluate in the route selection process.

What about the confidentiality of my molecule?

We understand confidentiality is very important for our customers and ensure that any work performed for you will be kept in the strictest confidence. ROW2 adheres to strict standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure complete confidentiality. Upon request, these documented SOPs are available for your review.

How is a typical RouteDesign project undertaken?

1. Establish mutual Confidentiality Agreement
2. Obtain molecule(s) from the client company
3. Conduct preliminary searches and provide a proposal
4. Contract awarded
5. Optional Interim meeting(s) (through phone or videoconference)
6. Report Delivery
7. Report Post-Discussion

Who owns the chemistry IP included in the report?

Upon full payment all intellectual property belongs to the client company, and therefore, we will never share that information with other companies.

What is the background of your chemists?

During our hiring process we ensure that we recruit chemists from various industries, so they are experts with different types of chemistry. Therefore, our chemists come from the agro, monomers/polymers, pharmaceutical, dyes & colors, fragrances and specialty chemicals industries. They have also worked for many reputed companies and have been trained to follow strict confidentiality procedures, and therefore, understand the importance of confidentiality from the client’s point of view as well.
