ROW2's 2008 Press Conference catches media attention

ROW2 Technologies Inc. hosted a successful press conference at Informex USA on January 31, 2008 titled "Pharmaceutical Licensing: Challenges from a synthetic view". In this press conference, ROW2’s Vice-President - Process Chemistry Solutions, Joseph D’Antuono, Ph.D. shared thoughts and live case studies on overcoming licensing challenges with respect to process scalability.
Shedding light on today's one of the most preferred strategies "Licensing" used by companies to increase their product pipeline, Joseph discussed in detail the challenges and risks involved with licensing from the process chemistry perspective. Explaining how critical it is to take into consideration process scalability related risks, Joseph unrevealed the checklist for evaluating in-licensing candidates. He also shared his thoughts on how innovator companies can reduce their scalability risks before committing to huge investments as well as the pro-active approaches out-licensing companies need to take to get better realizations.
This Press Conference received encouraging support from the media colleagues, many of who also requested ROW2 to write articles on the above topic for their publications, realizing the need to share this critical information with the industry.
At the Press Conference, ROW2 also celebrated SmartChem 5 Year Jubilee Finale to officially conclude its SmartChem 5 Years Jubilee Celebration from 2007, which observed SmartChem completing 5 Successful Years of providing value to the industry. Dr. David Youngs, one of SmartChem’s active users for the past 3 years was felicitated at the Finale Celebration. Following this, the excitement of the Press Conference saw Ms. Susan Birks of Wilmington Business Information win an i-pod nano at the Lucky Drawing organised for ROW2 press colleagues.
