Shekhar Iyer
Chief Executive Officer

Shekhar is responsible for spearheading business development efforts and identifying new business opportunities, as well as for managing day-to-day operations of ROW2.

Shekhar has the flair for operations management and has “hands-on” experience in managing company operations since their inception.

He was previously head of the capital market fiduciary services division for Chase Manhattan Bank in India. He was responsible for creating, marketing and delivering products to corporate clients in 12 years with Chase’s corporate finance and global services divisions. He has 11 years of prior experience with the Bank of India, where he helped create a computerized credit information and monitoring system that later became an industry standard. Shekhar holds a Masters in Administrative Management from Bombay University.

Dhananjay Rane
Executive Director – Process Chemistry Solutions

Dhananjay is responsible for leading the process chemistry solutions team and for the execution of ROW2’s flagship service RouteDesign and other chemistry-based offerings.

Dhananjay brings over 14 years of Organic chemistry experience to the team. Dhananjay began his career in the Research & Development Department of Gharda Chemicals Limited. As the Group Leader of Herbicides & Insecticides laboratory at Gharda, he personally led the development and manufacturing of 4 new bio-active molecules. He left Gharda in 1999 to head the R&D center of Rallis Limited a $200 M global manufacturing company based in Mumbai.

Dhananjay received a post-graduate in M.Sc. (Tech) degree from University Department of Chem. Technology (UDCT) in Pharmaceuticals and Fine Chemicals with Prof. S.K.Pradhan and a Ph.D. (Tech) in Chemical Technology from UDCT , working with Prof. M.M. Sharma, FRS, in 1992.

R. "Swami" Swaminathan
Director on the Board of ROW2 Technologies, Inc.

Swami has over 20 years experience leading and managing software solutions startups with a talent for building high-performance organizations.

Swami came to ROW2 in 2002 to help fashion it ‘s new service offerings.

Swami has a 20-year track record of building successful software operations, including four years with Think Systems as vice president of development and president of India operations, and five years with i2 Technologies as senior vice president of supply chain management and president of i2 India. He managed i2's first Global Solutions Business Unit, comprising over 1000 professionals worldwide. He has prior experience in solutions architecture, software design and development, and customer support. Swami holds a Master of Management Studies from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science.

Ken Bakshi
Co-founder

Ken brought valuable leadership experience in building and operating global life science businesses. Ken has held senior-level executive positions at American Home Products Company (AHPC) and American Cyanamid Company (ACY). A seasoned executive with vast experience, Ken was accountable for one of AHPC's international businesses with annual revenues of over $1 billion.

Ken's international experience includes the development and implementation of global operating systems, as well as leading new product development and productivity enhancement initiatives in several research-based industries, including pharmaceuticals, animal health and nutrition, and agricultural chemicals.

Ken currently serves on the board of World Fuel Services Corporation (NYSE:INT), and Macosta Medical USA, LLC. A graduate of St. Stephen's College, Ken's education also includes an MBA in International Marketing from Rutgers University and coursework at AMP Graduate School of Business, Harvard; M&A Program, Northwestern University; EMP INSEAD, Fountainbleau, France; Building Organizational Effectiveness, Darden; and Leadership at the Peak, Center for Creative Leadership.

Kazuo Ninomiya
Corporate Representative, Japan

Kazuo is ROW2’s customer interface with the Japanese life sciences community. Kazuo was most recently the President, Representative Director, Wintonbury, Inc. and Chairman Emeritus, Cyanamid (Japan), Ltd. He worked in Business Development for American Cyanamid Company to help establish a chemical venture business and played a key role in the long-term development of new products and customer bases.

Kazuo received his MBA in Management from the University of Hartford and his BSME from the University of California at Berkeley, College of Engineering.
